Midwest Regional Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support the accounting team in a fast-paced environment, the full-time salaried Midwest Regional Senior Accountant will manage complex accounting activities, ensure compliance with GAAP, and support month-end close processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Support the month-end close process and prepare analytical reviews on key accounts
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations

Required qualifications

• 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity organization
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or CPA eligibility is a plus
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control principles
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience using Infor software is required
