Military Benefit Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Military Benefit Specialist I to process military education benefits for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Process military education benefits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies
• Review course information and validate enrollment and billing for the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Collaborate with various teams to maintain accurate military student accounts and resolve outstanding balances

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of VA Education Benefits and Federal Military Tuition Assistance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Successful access to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) and a credit check
• Experience in military benefit certifications, military student services, invoicing, financial aid, or bursar functions
