Job Summary
Leading the Military Degree Plans Team, the full-time salaried Assistant Director of Military Degree Plans Program Management will oversee daily operations, staff supervision, and process improvements while collaborating with military and academic stakeholders to enhance service delivery for active-duty military members and Department of Defense civilians.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with strategic planning and implementation of the Military Degree Plan Team's operations in alignment with the organization's mission
- Provide supervision, coaching, and performance management for MDP Coordinators, facilitating employee development and training
- Serve as a subject matter expert on military degree plans and collaborate with various departments to streamline degree planning workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Three to five years of experience in academic advising, military education, or related higher education fields
- Minimum one year of supervisory or leadership experience
- Demonstrated understanding of military education benefits and degree planning processes
- Experience using PeopleSoft, Salesforce, and degree audit systems
