Job Summary
To support a federal program management office, the full-time Military Health Communications Lead will develop and execute outreach initiatives, create engaging content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance program effectiveness in mental health and suicide prevention efforts, with a preference for candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area or San Antonio, Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement marketing and educational materials across various platforms
- Create compelling content and manage the review process for marketing materials to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Prepare monthly reports on marketing initiatives and participate in outreach events to promote programs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with Military Health communication platforms and preparing executive-level briefings
- Strong writing and editing skills, with familiarity in design tools such as Figma
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and collaboration platforms like SharePoint and Jira/Confluence
- Ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities
