Job Summary

To support a federal program management office, the full-time Military Health Communications Lead will develop and execute marketing and communication strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote mental health and suicide prevention initiatives, with a preference for candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area or San Antonio, Texas, while allowing for remote work.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement marketing and educational materials across various platforms
  • Develop and manage engaging content for websites, social media, events, and email campaigns aligned with organizational goals
  • Prepare monthly reports on marketing activities and results, ensuring stakeholder communication and project alignment
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing with 8+ years of relevant experience in Military Health communications
  • Hands-on experience with Military Health communication platforms and tools
  • Strong background in preparing executive-level briefings and reports for senior leadership
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and collaboration platforms, with experience in design tools like Figma
  • Ability to develop comprehensive communication strategies that align with business objectives and drive project success
