Job Summary

To support a federal program management office, the full-time Military Health Communications Lead will develop and execute outreach initiatives, create engaging content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote mental health and suicide prevention programs, with a preference for candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area or San Antonio, Texas.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement marketing, advertising, and educational materials across various platforms
  • Develop and manage email campaigns, webinars, and promotional products while ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Prepare monthly reports on marketing activities and participate in outreach events to promote initiatives
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing with 8+ years of relevant experience in Military Health communications
  • Hands-on experience with Military Health communication platforms and preparing executive-level briefings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Jira/Confluence
  • Strong background in developing comprehensive communication strategies that align with business objectives
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, with U.S. citizenship required for eligibility
