Job Summary
To support federal program management in Northern Virginia, the full-time Military Health Communications Lead will develop and execute outreach initiatives, create engaging content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote mental health and suicide prevention programs, with a preference for candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area or San Antonio, Texas, though remote work is supported.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement marketing and educational materials across various platforms
- Create compelling content and manage communications initiatives, including email campaigns and webinars
- Prepare monthly reports on marketing activities and maintain stakeholder communication to align project goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with Military Health communication platforms and preparing executive-level briefings
- Excellent verbal, presentation, writing, and editing skills, with familiarity in design tools like Figma
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Jira/Confluence
- Ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced environments and navigate changing priorities effectively
