Job Summary

To support federal program management, the full-time Military Health Communications Lead will develop and execute outreach initiatives, create engaging content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the effectiveness of mental health and suicide prevention programs, with a preference for candidates located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area or San Antonio, Texas, though remote work is supported.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to propose and implement marketing and educational materials across various platforms
  • Develop and manage content for websites, social media, and promotional campaigns while ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Prepare monthly reports on marketing activities and participate in outreach events to promote initiatives
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing with 8+ years of relevant experience in Military Health communications
  • Hands-on experience with Military Health communication platforms and preparing executive-level briefings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and Jira/Confluence
  • Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills, with familiarity in design tools like Figma
  • Ability to align communication strategies with business objectives and adapt to changing priorities
