Military Logistics Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Seeking a remote, contracted Military Logistics Subject Matter Expert, the candidate will manage the quality assurance of generative AI tasks by reviewing and writing analyses of doctrinal, operational, and strategic documents, while also training junior AI writing specialists and collaborating with machine learning engineers to optimize workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Review, critique, and author high-quality text datasets to drive model optimization
• Interface with Machine Learning engineers to align on frameworks for model comparison and reinforcement learning
• Train and mentor junior AI writing specialists to uphold military standards across project outputs

Required qualifications:

• Proven track record as a U.S. military officer with at least five years as a Company Grade Officer (O-3 or higher) in logistical planning
• Direct experience within a G-4 or J-4 directorate with oversight of Class VIII supply chains
• Service-specific credentials such as AOC 70H, AOC 70K, or equivalent designator codes from U.S. military branches
• Deep interest in AI/ML technologies and their application in national security
• Exceptional outcome-orientation and adaptability in ambiguous environments
