Job Summary
Supporting the development and execution of energy infrastructure projects, the full-time remote Mineral and Gas Specialist will deliver accurate mineral ownership analysis, title review, and land documentation support while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to reduce project risk and improve operational readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver accurate ownership analysis by reviewing mineral deeds, oil & gas leases, and other related documents
- Prepare and assist with land agreements and documentation, ensuring accurate legal descriptions and tracking execution status
- Proactively identify and resolve title and ownership risks to minimize operational disruptions and improve agreement turnaround timelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Petroleum Land Management, Business, Legal Studies, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred
- 5-10+ years of experience in oil & gas land administration, mineral title analysis, or upstream energy operations
- Strong understanding of mineral and leasehold ownership concepts and chain of title analysis
- Familiarity with GIS/mapping tools, document management systems, and county clerk or record systems
- Ability to independently analyze complex ownership structures and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
