Job Summary
To support a commitment to student-centered education, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Associate Professor in the MSN NP program will engage in person-centered teaching, provide individualized instructional support, and contribute to scholarship and service activities while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate dynamic learning environments through effective communication and constructive feedback to support student growth
- Engage in scholarship activities that align with the university's mission and enhance teaching effectiveness
- Participate in service activities that advance the educational mission of the institution and support the community
Required qualifications
- PhD or DNP in the field of study or closely related field
- Current, unencumbered certification and licensure in Minnesota as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (GNP), or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) is required
- 3+ years of teaching experience and/or a willingness to instruct within a person-centered teaching model
- Demonstrated capacity to provide individualized instructional support to a diverse student population
