Minnesota Licensed Assurance Associate

Job Summary

To support a diverse range of clients, the full-time hybrid Minnesota Licensed Assurance Associate will perform audits, reviews, and attestation services while taking ownership of significant portions of engagements and mentoring less experienced team members.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audits, reviews, compilations, and other attestation services for clients across various industries
• Assist with engagement planning, risk assessment, testing procedures, and financial statement preparation
• Review work completed by associates for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 150 credit hours
• 2+ years of Public Accounting or general accounting experience
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in various accounting software, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing standards
• Ability to differentiate between different types of engagements and the processes required (i.e. compilation, review, and audit)
