Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Medical Director to oversee and direct the Utilization Management Program and perform peer reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of cost-effective quality care incorporating recovery and person-centered services
• Oversee utilization management protocols and guidelines
• Provide clinical oversight to staff and manage services at all levels of care

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Current unrestricted medical license in Minnesota
• Board certified in Psychiatry
• Understanding of engagement, empowerment, rehabilitation, and recovery principles
• Knowledge of post-acute care planning and case management
