Job Summary

Providing oversight and direction for the Utilization Management Program, the part-time Minnesota Licensed Behavioral Medical Director will perform peer reviews, collaborate with clinical professionals, and ensure the delivery of quality, cost-effective care while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure delivery of cost-effective quality care that incorporates recovery, resiliency, and person-centered services
• Oversee utilization review, management, and care coordination activities in collaboration with clinical leadership
• Maintain clinical integrity through timely peer reviews, appeals, and consultations with providers and community-based clinicians

Required qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Current license to practice as a physician in Minnesota
• Board certified in Psychiatry
• Knowledge of post-acute care planning, including home care and case management
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
