Job Summary
To support a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory, the part-time Minnesota Licensed Cardiovascular Technologist will assist cardiologists with procedures, operate specialized equipment, and monitor patient conditions while working onsite in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Accepts and assesses patients to determine proper handling and special requirements
- Monitors patients for changes in hemodynamic status and reports findings to the physician
- Maintains and operates complex equipment related to the cardiac catheterization laboratory
Required qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of allied health services in cardiovascular/cardiopulmonary technology or radiography techniques
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Registered Technologist
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS) or eligible, with the requirement to obtain RCIS certification within one year of hire
