Job Summary
Supporting cardiologists in a fast-paced environment, the part-time Minnesota Licensed Cardiovascular Technologist will assist with procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, operate specialized equipment, and train staff while working onsite with a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and overnights.
Key responsibilities
- Accepts and assesses patients to determine handling and special requirements
- Monitors patient hemodynamic status and reports changes to the physician
- Maintains and operates complex equipment within the cardiac catheterization laboratory
Required qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of allied health services in cardiovascular/cardiopulmonary technology and radiography techniques
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Registered Technologist
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS) or eligible, with a requirement to obtain within one year of hire date
