Job Summary
Providing physician leadership to advance clinical information systems, the full-time salaried Chief Medical Information Officer will enhance evidence-based medicine at the point of care while collaborating with clinicians and administrative leadership to optimize information technology systems for improved patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on business strategies and formulate plans to maximize clinical use of information technology systems
- Lead efforts to improve operational performance and patient care through effective use of clinical information systems
- Collaborate with diverse teams to implement project management and organizational change initiatives
Required qualifications
- Board-certified Physician in Pediatrics or Pediatric Subspecialty
- Medical license in Minnesota or eligibility to obtain it within 6 months of hire
- 3-5 years of experience in clinical systems and process redesign
- Demonstrated experience in Health Informatics and electronic health information systems
- Training and expertise in statistics, research design, and health outcomes measurement
