Job Summary
Driving strategic initiatives, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Clinical Documentation Director will oversee the inpatient CDI program, collaborating with clinical and operational leaders to enhance documentation quality, improve patient outcomes, and support value-based care, primarily in a remote setting with occasional on-site meetings in St. Cloud, MN.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with physician leaders and operational teams to ensure accurate and clinically supported documentation across the health system
- Advance documentation strategies to positively influence quality metrics and organizational financial targets
- Direct daily operations of the CDI program, focusing on staffing, workflow optimization, and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's in healthcare or related field preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in Minnesota
- CCDS certification through ACDIS required
- 5+ years of experience in an acute care setting, with at least 3 years in clinical documentation integrity
- 2+ years of management experience at a manager or director level
