Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Nurse to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct concurrent auditing of medical record documentation to ensure accurate reflection of care and resources used
• Facilitate appropriate physician documentation and seek clarification when needed to enhance documentation specificity
• Collect and analyze data related to documentation findings for process improvement and communicate results with staff and management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Minnesota required
• Minimum of 3 years acute care experience required
• Experience in performance improvement and quality assurance is required
• Certification as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) is preferred
