Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part time Clinical Reviewer - Substance Use (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret patient records against ASAM criteria to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of care
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of review cases within contract requirements and monitor quality improvement activities
• Act as a liaison for providers regarding customer service issues and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license in Minnesota as LPCC, LMFT, or LICSW
• 3+ years of direct clinical experience as a mental health professional
• 1+ years of experience in Utilization Review (UR), Utilization Management (UM), or Prior Authorization
• In-depth understanding of ASAM criteria and medical records structure
• Proficient in medical record abstraction
