Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-time Clinical Reviewer - Substance Use (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret patient records against ASAM criteria to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of care
• Attend training and meetings while maintaining current knowledge for review processes
• Monitor quality activities and collaborate with supervisors to identify and implement improvements

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Minnesota license as LPCC, LMFT, or LICSW, or eligibility to obtain within six months
• 3+ years of direct clinical experience as a mental health professional
• 1+ years of experience in Utilization Review (UR), Utilization Management (UM), or Prior Authorization
• In-depth understanding of ASAM criteria and medical records structure
• Strong clinical assessment capabilities and proficiency in medical record abstraction
