Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder 2 - PB.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical documentation and assign appropriate diagnosis, procedure, and service codes
• Utilize electronic coding software to ensure accurate coding for optimal reimbursement
• Resolve discrepancies in clinical documentation and provide feedback to providers

Required Qualifications

• Certificate program in coding or associate degree in Health Information Management (HIM) with 1-3 years of healthcare experience
• 1 year of coding experience
• Certifications such as Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• Experience in Outpatient or Professional Fee Coding
• Additional certifications are preferred
