Minnesota Licensed Coding Quality Analyst
Job Summary
To enhance coding accuracy and compliance, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Coding Quality Analyst will maintain expert knowledge of coding practices, conduct audits, and collaborate with stakeholders to address compliance issues, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain expert knowledge of coding operations and best practices while driving integration of business objectives
- Communicate compliance risks and collaborate with regulators to prevent potential issues
- Conduct internal audits to identify process gaps and provide quality performance feedback to coding staff
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- AAPC or AHIMA (CCS, CPC, RHIT or RHIA) certification
- 3+ years of Outpatient Facility coding and auditing experience
- 1+ years of experience working collaboratively with quality leadership
- 1+ years of experience with computer-assisted coding technologies and EMR coding workflow
