Minnesota Licensed Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

Managing the coding staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Coding Supervisor will perform coding, abstracting, and reporting while providing training and support to maximize reimbursement and maintain quality in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage coding staff activities and ensure compliance with coding regulations and standards
• Train and supervise staff to enhance coding quality and turnaround times
• Act as a resource for hospital departments and respond to various departmental requests to ensure customer service excellence

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree or 1+ years of medical coding experience
• Current coding credentials from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)
• 3+ years of professional coding experience
• 3+ years of experience with electronic health records and healthcare applications
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
