Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriter to work remotely in Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete underwriting training and shadow experienced underwriters to learn risk appetite and agency relationships
• Evaluate basic accounts for risk selection and pricing, and analyze relevant information to underwrite policies
• Communicate with agents, provide updates on accounts, and collaborate with marketing representatives to enhance customer experiences

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in insurance or business administration, or equivalent relevant experience
• Preferred insurance designations, such as CPCU
• Basic knowledge of underwriting and risk analysis
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
