Job Summary

A company is looking for a Court Reporter - Stenographic or Electronic.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and preserve a verbatim record of court proceedings either in person or remotely
• Prepare and distribute transcripts and court orders in accordance with legal guidelines
• Maintain accurate and complete files and records, and perform other court-related duties as directed by the Judge

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduation from high school or equivalent
• Completion of a court reporting school approved by the NCRA (for Stenographic Court Reporter)
• For Electronic Court Reporter, compliance with certification requirements within three months of hire
• Possession of relevant certifications such as RPR or equivalent (for Stenographic Court Reporter)
• Experience and training that demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role
