Minnesota Licensed Employment Specialist

Job Summary

To support individuals with disabilities, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Employment Specialist will manage a caseload, providing flexible employment services and supports both remotely and onsite in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in exploring and understanding competitive employment opportunities through individualized activities and experiences
• Provide tailored support to help clients achieve and maintain employment in community settings
• Engage with support teams, advocate for clients, and manage logistical details related to employment services

Required qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass a Department of Human Services background study
• Current licensure as a Social Worker in Minnesota if holding a Social Work degree
• Education and experience requirements as outlined by Minnesota statute Chapter 245 D section 8
• Passion for making a difference and a desire to learn in the field of human services
