Job Summary
To support individuals with disabilities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Employment Specialist will manage a caseload, providing flexible employment supports and services both remotely and onsite while advocating for clients' success in competitive employment.
Key responsibilities
- Hold and manage a caseload of individuals, providing personalized support and advocacy
- Deliver individualized employment services, including exploration, development, and ongoing support in community settings
- Engage with support teams and employers, coordinating logistics and maintaining documentation to meet licensing requirements
Required qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a vehicle
- Must pass a Department of Human Services background study
- Current Minnesota Social Worker license if holding a Social Work degree
- A four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human services related to direct care for persons with disabilities or age 65 and older
- Demonstrated time management skills and effective communication abilities
