Minnesota Licensed Employment Specialist

Job Summary

To support individuals with disabilities in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, the full-time hybrid Minnesota Licensed Employment Specialist will manage a caseload, providing individualized employment services focused on exploration, development, and ongoing support in community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Hold and support a caseload of individuals, helping them explore and secure competitive employment opportunities
• Engage with support teams and advocate for clients during meetings while providing necessary training and resources
• Organize logistics such as scheduling, transportation, and communication with employers to facilitate successful employment outcomes

Required qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and a vehicle
• Must pass a Department of Human Services background study
• If holding a Social Work degree, must be currently licensed as a Social Worker by the Minnesota Board of Social Work
• Demonstrated good written and oral communication skills, as well as time management skills
• Experience with Electronic Health Records is preferred
