Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist RN.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and manage prior authorization requirements for Oncology services and other medical specialties
• Assess clinical data and ensure proper documentation to support medical necessity for scheduled services
• Train and mentor less experienced team members on the prior authorization process

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Active licensed Registered Nurse in the state of residence
• 3+ years of Managed Care and/or clinical experience
• 2+ years of experience in an acute hospital or medical clinic setting
