Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Surgeon - Utilization Review - Remote (1099 Independent Contractor).

Key Responsibilities

• Review Prior Authorizations for treatment based on medical guidelines and regulations
• Provide expert assessments ensuring compliance with ERISA/DOL and state regulations
• Work flexibly, completing cases that typically take 30-60 minutes

Required Qualifications

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified in General Surgery
• Must have 5 years of patient care experience in General Surgery
• Must have an unrestricted Minnesota state medical license
• Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card
