Job Summary

Minnesota Licensed Medical Coder, this full-time position involves coding for facility services, ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and maintaining coding quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign appropriate ICD-10 Codes, CPT, and modifiers for facility services
  • Maintain coding knowledge and participate in educational events
  • Adhere to ethical coding standards and performance levels established by the organization
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Professional coder certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC
  • 2+ years of experience with ICD-10, CPT, and Emergency Room coding
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and EMR systems
  • Ability to maintain a dedicated work area for telecommuting
