Minnesota Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

To support acute care management, the part-time Minnesota Licensed Medical Director will conduct medical necessity reviews and collaborate with nursing teams, working remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in telephonic outreach to collaborate with treating providers on care plans and clinical quality improvements
• Collaborate with operational and business partners on clinical and quality initiatives to meet customer expectations
• Utilize evidence-based medicine guidelines for care management and participate in market oversight meetings as needed

Required qualifications:

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license
• Current Board Certification in an ABMS or AOBMS specialty
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency
• Technical proficiency in computer software and systems
• Private home office and access to high-speed Internet
