Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medication Access Specialist to streamline insurance processes and enhance medication access for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process medication authorizations and conduct benefits investigations
• Identify patient assistance programs and support coverage denial appeals
• Communicate medication options and financial resources to patients while ensuring accurate documentation

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in healthcare or with pharmacy providers on medication access
• State Board of Pharmacy Technician registration obtained within 6 months of hire
• Preferred: Active CPhT certification through PTCB or NHA
• Knowledge of Medicare and third-party payer regulations is highly desired
