Job Summary
Seeking a part-time Minnesota Licensed News Anchor, the Anchor-Reporter will cover breaking news, produce and anchor radio newscasts, and publish news stories across digital platforms while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover breaking news events and conduct interviews with state and national leaders
- Produce, write, and anchor hourly radio newscasts with accurate and engaging delivery
- Research, write, edit, and publish news stories on various digital platforms
Required Qualifications:
- Formal training or demonstrated experience in on-air broadcasting
- 5 years of experience in a radio or television station or comparable news organization
- Proficiency with digital audio editing and production tools
- Experience operating radio studio equipment and managing studio operations
- Bachelor's degree or technical college degree in journalism, communications, broadcasting, or a related field preferred
