Minnesota Licensed Obstetrics Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Obstetrics Medical Director for a per diem, weekend-only remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with obstetricians and nurses in evaluating high-risk maternity patients
• Conduct provider telephonic reviews and facilitate clinical quality initiatives
• Participate in data analysis and engage with clients to report market trends

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted license
• Board Certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency
• Experience in utilization and clinical coverage review
• Solid understanding of Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM)
