Minnesota Licensed Options Counselor

Job Summary

Providing options counseling to individuals with disabilities, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Options Counselor will work remotely, answering inquiries, advocating for clients, and educating them on available resources while managing customer interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide confidential, neutral direct service to Disability Hub MN consumers
• Advocate for Hub consumers by contacting relevant social service agencies as needed
• Conduct person-centered discovery to explore individual needs, strengths, and goals

Required Qualifications

• Must reside in Minnesota
• 4-year degree and two years of related experience; or a 2-year degree and four years of related experience
• Knowledge of community resources, benefits, and public assistance programs
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
• Lawfully authorized to work in the United States
