Minnesota Licensed Options Counselor

Job Summary

Providing options counseling to individuals with disabilities, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Options Counselor will work remotely to answer inquiries, advocate for clients, and educate them on available resources while ensuring compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide confidential, neutral direct service to Disability Hub MN consumers
• Advocate for consumers by contacting relevant social service agencies as needed
• Conduct person-centered discovery to assess individual needs and provide effective counseling

Required Qualifications

• Must reside in Minnesota and be lawfully authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
• Knowledge of community resources, benefits, and public assistance programs
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
• Proficient with computer applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
