Job Summary

A company is looking for Orthopedic Surgeons for Utilization Review - Remote (1099 Independent Contractor).

Key Responsibilities

• Review Prior Authorizations for treatment using accepted medical and healthcare guidelines
• Provide expert, unbiased assessments while ensuring compliance with ERISA/DOL and state regulations
• Work remotely with flexible hours, completing most cases in 30-60 minutes

Required Qualifications

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Spine, Shoulder & Elbow, and/or Hip & Knee is required
• Must have 5 years of patient care experience in Orthopedic Surgery
• Must have an unrestricted Minnesota state medical license
