Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Contract (1099) Orthopedic Surgeon for Utilization Review.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent Utilization Reviews for orthopedic cases
• Work remotely with a flexible schedule requiring 1-2 hours per week
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient records

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Must be an MD or DO
• Must be Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Spine, Shoulder & Elbow, and/or Hip & Knee is required
• Must have 5 years of patient care experience in Orthopedic Surgery
• Must hold an unrestricted Minnesota state medical license
