Job Summary

A company is looking for a Judge Unit Paralegal (Temporary).

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts legal research and drafts legal documents for the judge
• Receives and screens incoming communications and manages the judge's calendar
• Performs courtroom duties and various clerical tasks as required by the judge

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a paralegal or an Associate's Degree in law, criminal justice, or a related field
• Experience in a legal setting is required
• Certification as a paralegal through an approved ABA program or equivalent certification is required
• Knowledge of laws, court rules, and legal terminology
• Ability to operate personal computers with legal research software
