Job Summary
To support patient access to medications, the part-time Minnesota Licensed Prescription Specialist will coordinate financial assistance programs and educate patients on their insurance benefits while working in a hybrid environment with four days remote and one day onsite in Shoreview, Minnesota.
Key responsibilities
- Educate patients on insurance prescription benefits and identify financial assistance programs
- Expedite patient access to medications by resolving barriers and coordinating with healthcare teams
- Provide individualized patient care and education while fulfilling organizational requirements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years of experience in a complex office support or advocacy role, preferably in pharmacy
- 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
- MN Pharmacy License registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the MN State Board of Pharmacy
- Ability to assess and clarify changing priorities
