Job Summary

Evaluating and placing commercial insurance opportunities, the full-time Minnesota Licensed Risk Placement Specialist will negotiate terms and develop coverage solutions while working hybrid or remotely, focusing on new business placements without renewal marketing or ongoing account servicing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Review commercial insurance submissions and develop placement strategies to secure competitive coverage solutions
• Negotiate terms directly with insurance carriers and secure quotes for new business opportunities
• Maintain relationships with underwriters and internal producer partners to facilitate the placement process

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of commercial insurance experience within a retail brokerage or independent agency
• Experience marketing and placing commercial insurance accounts
• Knowledge of E&S Marketplace coverage is required
• P&C License required; advanced industry designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) are a plus
