Minnesota Licensed Title Examiner

Job Summary

To support Minnesota real estate transactions, the remote Minnesota Licensed Title Examiner will perform comprehensive title examinations, review documentation, and issue Commitments to Insure for both buyers and lenders in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform title examinations in compliance with Minnesota Title Standards and underwriter policies
• Conduct thorough reviews of title-related documentation and process requests for title commitments and endorsements
• Maintain communication with the closing team and provide guidance to customers on resolving title issues

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with a title insurance company or real estate services organization
• Proficient in standard office technology and document management systems
• Experience with proprietary title or real estate software preferred, with a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
• Ability to draw out legal descriptions or meets and bounds descriptions
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
