Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Informatics Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and track patients for the trauma registry database using Excel
• Abstract and analyze medical data throughout patient care phases
• Ensure accurate data validation and submission to relevant trauma registries

Required Qualifications

• A.A./A.S. in a healthcare-related field OR Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• 2 years of demonstrated experience in Trauma Registry
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and injury severity scoring
• Familiarity with data management, medical terminology, and anatomy/physiology
• Completion of the American Trauma Society's Trauma Registry Course or ability to complete within 1 year
