Job Summary
Seeking a Minnesota Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster, the full-time remote position will manage and adjudicate medical-only and indemnity claims, including Federal and State Black Lung claims, while ensuring timely communication and resolution with all stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims by conducting thorough investigations and interviews
- Manage medical-only claims and ensure timely processing of appropriate medical payments
- Set claim reserves and prepare documentation while maintaining effective communication with claim stakeholders
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in Minnesota
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in indemnity claims
- Strong claim negotiation and strategic evaluation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
