Job Summary

Supporting patients with insurance and billing inquiries, the fully remote Minnesota Patient Accounts Specialist will resolve patient balances, verify insurance benefits, and assist with payment plans in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients on outstanding balances and payment arrangements
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and claims
• Resolve billing and insurance-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of patient accounts, healthcare revenue cycle, or patient financial services experience
• Experience with insurance claims, benefits verification, and patient billing
• Familiarity with payer portals (Availity preferred) and EMR systems
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and Microsoft Office proficiency
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree not required
