MIR Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a MIR Specialist for the West Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Correct and rework orders that cannot be billed or have resulted in claim denials
• Gather and review documentation for payer requirements and verify client benefits
• Maintain communication with clients and coordinate with branch staff to secure necessary documentation

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment and/or Complex Rehab Technology
• Extensive knowledge of insurance guidelines and funding processes for Durable Medical Equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving abilities and knowledge of relevant policies and procedures
