MIR Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a MIR Specialist for the South Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with various personnel to ensure operational procedures are completed in accordance with company policy
• Correct and rework orders that cannot be billed or have resulted in claim denials due to missing or incorrect information
• Gather and review necessary documentation for payer submissions and maintain communication with clients throughout the process

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of 3 years of experience related to Durable Medical Equipment and/or Complex Rehab Technology
• Extensive knowledge of insurance guidelines and processes for securing funding for Durable Medical Equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong ability to problem solve and interpret payer guidelines and policies
