MIR Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a MIR Specialist in the West Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Correct and rework orders that cannot be billed or have resulted in claim denials
• Ensure accuracy of coding, modifiers, and pricing while gathering necessary documentation for funding packages
• Communicate with clients, physicians, and therapists to secure required documentation and provide updates throughout the funding process

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Durable Medical Equipment and/or Complex Rehab Technology
• Extensive knowledge of insurance guidelines and funding processes for Durable Medical Equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to interpret and follow payer guidelines and company policies
